Lisa Newton B.Sc.(Psych),
Lisa Newton is a Clinical Psychologist and holds current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, is a registered Medicare provider, and is a Full Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Southern Queensland, a Master of Arts (Counselling Psychology) from Ball State University in the United States of America, and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Edith Cowan University. Her research is in the lived experience of prostate cancer.
Lisa works as a private practitioner Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in this clinic. Lisa’s main areas of interest include attachment, developmental psychology, relational and complex trauma. Lisa has experience working with a range of patients who initially come to therapy with issues such as: relationship difficulties, feelings of anxiety and depression, problems with adjustment, stress, separation, grief, inner conflict, loneliness or trauma.
