Lisa
Newton is a Clinical Psychologist and holds current registration
with the Psychology Board of Australia, is a registered
Medicare and HBF provider, and is a Full Member of the
Australian Psychological Society. Lisa has over 12 years
counselling experience, providing services to individuals,
couples and families. She has also Lectured in Psychology at
Ball State University, Indiana, United States of America. Lisa
has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of
Southern Queensland, a Master of Arts (Counselling Psychology)
from Ball State University in the United States of America, and
a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Edith Cowan University.
Her research is in the lived experience of prostate cancer.
Lisa works as a private
practitioner Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in this clinic. Trained in a range of therapies Lisa’s areas of
interest include: pregnancy related issues; grief and loss,
relationship issues, anxiety and depression; older adults,
cognitive assessments; oncology and identity issues. Lisa works
collaboratively with clients with an emphasis on holistic
health and wellbeing.
